Inktober 2024

I haven't been using social media as much these days, but I did still opt to participate in the Inktober sketch challenge this year. It was a really helpful exercise to get out of my non-drawing rut and provided a focus point for the month. I started out using the "official" Inktober 2024 prompt list....but in my opinion alot of the words were lame, so I abandoned those about 1/3 of the way through and decided to do my own thing. I think it went well, and to my surprise I also managed to complete the whole month which was nice since I only made it a week last year.

Some of the sketches will be available as prints in my shop soon, for now I've got a gallery of the whole month to look through. If a particular sketch is really desired as a print then I'll make one, feedback is welcome on favorites.

All drawings were completed in a Rhodia brand sketchbook- the pages feel like butter, I love all of their products. The inks used were varied: some Copic brand markers and some not, and various weights of liner & brush pens.
